Terms & Conditions of Sale & Return Policy

Stewart Enterprises Inc. Policies & Ordering

How To Order:

Sales Terms

•Stewart Enterprises Inc. is a retail distributor for the items on this website and in our catalog.
•A valid Sales Tax Resale certificate copy and business license copy must be provided at the time of your first order.


Payment Terms

•Terms of sale: Visa/MasterCard, PayPal.
•Returned check fee: $30.00
•PayPal processing fee: 3% of total.
•Credit card orders will only be accepted from persons who are authorized by the cardholder to place such orders.
•No shipments will be made on any past due accounts.
•If a delinquent account is sent to collections, the customer will be responsible for all collection charges.


Printed Catalogs:

•Retail Catalog: Retail catalogs are not available at this time.


Shipping:

•All shipping, billing and pricing errors must be reported within 7 days of receipt of shipment.
•All orders shipped F.O.B. from Jonestown, PA. or Mira Loma, CA.
•Any additional carrier charges added after shipping will be passed along to the customer (i.e., residential delivery fees, signature required fees and extended delivery charges).
•If your order does not qualify for prepaid freight, freight and insurance costs are calculated and added to invoice total.
•All freight charges are subject to carrier's billable weight.
•Shipping fees are non-refundable. Customer is responsible for all freight charges for unaccepted or refused delivery of shipments.
•Refused shipments may incur up to a 20% restock fee, plus shipping cost.
•UPS and FedEx charge Stewart Enterprises Inc. additional fees for each package that is requested to be intercepted, returned, or rerouted. These fees will be passed on to the customer only if the customer has requested the interception, return, or rerouting of the package(s).
•Hazardous material items cannot be shipped any method other than ground. Hazardous material items cannot be shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico, regardless of ship via description.


Shipping Of Backorders

•Before backordered items are shipped, a representative will call for release authorization, with the exception of E-Commerce only accounts.
•Backordered items are shipped at prices in effect when the item is shipped.


Damages/Claims:

•Damaged and missing item shipments must be reported to Stewart Enterprises Inc. Customer Service within five days from receipt of shipment. Stewart Enterprises Inc. will initiate all freight claims with the carrier.
•Due to the fragile nature of the product, TVs and Displays larger than 30" must be carefully inspected for any damage to the package. Any compromise to the package must be noted on the delivery receipt and/or Bill of Lading as proof the damage or tampering occurred prior to delivery. Failure to do so may result in the freight damage claim being denied.
•For assistance with damage or claim credits, contact Stewart Enterprises Inc. Customer Service at (502) 222-6003, . To ensure full credit, please keep the original packaging, manuals, and shipping boxes.


Return Policy:

•A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number must be obtained prior to the return of any merchandise. Please contact Stewart Enterprises Inc. Customer Service at (502) 222-6003, to obtain return authorization. Product returned without an RMA number will be returned to the customer at customer's expense.
•RMA numbers are valid for 30 days.
•Returns will be credited at the price paid on invoice or current selling price, whichever is lower, less any re-stock fee.
•Returns will be processed as ‘Credit Only' based on original payment terms. Stewart Enterprises Inc. does not offer cash refunds on returned merchandise.
•Defective returns are eligible for return within 90 days from the Stewart Enterprises Inc. invoice date. After 90 days, product must be referred to the manufacturer for authorized warranty repair.
•Factory sealed product in new/re-sellable condition may be returned at Stewart Enterprises Inc.'s discretion. Non-defective opened products are not eligible for return. Resellable products authorized for return will be credited at the current Stewart Enterprises Inc. selling price, less a 20% restocking fee.
•Sale of closeout and special ordered items are final. Only defective closeout/ special ordered product may be returned for credit as per normal Stewart Enterprises Inc. policy.
•Items showing signs of misuse or consumer abuse will not be accepted for return. Custom installation products that have been painted are not eligible for return. Items designed for consumer use but used commercially are not eligible for return.
•Products must be returned complete with original parts and documentation along with the original manufacturer's box/packaging. Incomplete returns will not receive full credit and fall subject to manufacturer's warranty. Where applicable, a fee up to 50% of the product price may be applied for missing parts, documentation, and manufacturer's box/packaging
•All returns must be shipped at the customer's expense and double boxed with the RMA number displayed on the outside of the shipping box along with the number of boxes being shipped back (i.e. 1 of 6, 2 of 6).
•Credit will be issued within 7 business days upon receipt of merchandise.


Return Policy Exceptions:

•Flat panel and Projection TVs are not eligible for return to Stewart Enterprises Inc..
•Most TVs/monitors 30" or larger and projection products require in-field service repairs under manufacturer's warranty. These products are not eligible for return. Please contact the appropriate manufacturer for troubleshooting and repair service.
•Stewart Enterprises Inc. follows all manufacturer return policies. Please reference the applicable catalog product page to determine those products that do not qualify under normal return policy. For additional information regarding these policy exceptions, please contact Stewart Enterprises Inc. Customer Service (502) 222-6003.
•The following manufacturers do not qualify under our normal return policy: Select Samsung, Benq, Chauvet Lighting, Optoma, Vutec, Denon, JVC, Intova, KVH, Sansui, Sharp, Sylvania and Philips. (Subject to change without notice)

In no event shall Stewart Enterprises Inc. be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential losses or damages, even if notification has been given as to the possibility of such damages.
•Authorizations and restrictions may apply to certain manufacturers and products.
